Resident Evil 2 Power Switches in RPD Basement Puzzle

In order to restore power to the basement in the RPD you must hit the UP and Down switches in the following order:

                                                        UP, UP, DOWN, DOWN, UP

After restoring power you will have access to the card reader on the outside of the weapons storage room that contains various weapons and ammunition.
